Alaskan Seaplane Nearly Lands on Whale
Check out this amazing footage of a seaplane that almost landed on a whale in a small, remote area in Alaska known as Angoon. The video shot by Thomas Hamm displays the plane descending effortlessly towards the water. Then the aircraft suddenly changes its course speeding and pulling up when it was about to hit the water.
The pilot of the Alaskan seaplane realized that he or she was about to land right on-top of a humpback whale swimming on the surface. But, the pilot was able to generate enough lift to narrowly miss the mammal, landing safely.
