Floating Dock Systems for
Saltwater Applications
Floating docking systems are ideally
suited to handle the unique challenges presented
in saltwater regions. First, saltwater environments
can literally destroy boats and pwcs with fouling,
corrosion and rust. You must select a saltwater
boat lift or saltwater boat dock for these applications.
Second, fluctuating waters can leave traditional
boat lifts, davits, boat hoists
and elevator lifts in an inconvenient position
for use -- either too high or too low to the
water's level. A floating boat lift product
must be considered, together with the use of
a special mooring system like our Tide
Manager™ System.
Third,
in saltwater environments, the saltwater
floating boat dock system or floating boat
lift itself must be engineered to withstand
rusting, corrosion or deterioration due to
marine growth, destructive ultraviolet rays
and damaging winds, waves and currents.

that is impervious to sun, salt or marine growth, with
no rotting wood or corroding metal connections to consider.
