Boat Lift Questions That You Wanted Answered

Why are your boat lifts black?
The carbon in the polymers produces the black color. it is naturally UV stable and it naturally blends in to the seascape. Marks from dirt and grease are far less noticeable in between cleanings. This is a neutral color and will not clash with your boat or surroundings. This also makes it easier to match as you expand your dock over the years with additional modules.
Will this make my new boat lift hot in the sun?
Yes, and foot wear is recommended. Whenever boarding any type of watercraft from any type of docking system it is always a recommended safety habit to have on footwear. If this still bothers you, then you can inquire about our light color walkway modules, or simply cover the concerned areas with indoor/outdoor carpet.
How will your boat lift / docking systems hold up to the elements?
We understand that this is a major concern of all our customers, so put your worries aside! Jet Dock's light weight, flexible, durable design allows it to withstand the maximum in chop and waves endured by any docking system. The mooring is the most vulnerable point, and locations that experience 2 feet or less are recommended. Contact your Jet Dock representative for other mooring feasibility questions.
The Jet Dock is designed to be in the water year around. Should the water freeze around the unit, it will simply "pop up" on top of the ice and remain undamaged. You do need to remove "stand alone" mooring poles. If ice flows in the area are known to tear up structures, needless to say, removal from the water is highly recommended, just as you would remove your watercraft.
If tides are your concern, then you need to check out our Tide Manager mooring system that allows your floating boat lift system to move up and down with the varying water levels.
Will your boat lifts mark up my boat, PWC, or seaplane?
Our boat lifts are made up of high-density polyethylene. Since this material is softer than the hull of your craft, damage is not an issue. The contact area does need to be clear of sand, dirt and debris to prevent it from being abrasive and scratching your hull, just as you would for any other type of storage or moving solution.
Will my docking system come assembled?
Each Jet Dock is pre-assembled at our factory. Since some designs are too large for shipping or tansport, they will arrive in sections. The assembly of these section is very east and straight forward and well documented in your owner's manual, instruction sheets, and assembly videos and DVD's.
What makes Jet Dock better than other dry docking systems?
Our boat lift design delivers to you the only changeable, modular, and expandable boat lift / docking system that also utilize our patented Sequential Flex Technology. As you drive on, the dock flexes downward and allows your boat or watercraft to gently and safely ride up on to it and lifts it out of the water.
